Great effort today. Had a shot to pull an upset!
Agree! First time in a long time that we take an L and I feel good about the remainder of our season!I know this will go in the L column but this was a W for me. I saw some real grit and determination from these guys. Can I also say Yates is like Rocky Balboa…all heart. Go Jackets!
Ugh. Sorry.I wish I could be happy right now. This team fought an awesome game… but I spent the entire 2nd half dealing with rain coming through a hole in our roof made late yesterday afternoon by a painting sub-contractor.
Yikes!!!I wish I could be happy right now. This team fought an awesome game… but I spent the entire 2nd half dealing with rain coming through a hole in our roof made late yesterday afternoon by a painting sub-contractor.
Might I ask what happened in a similar situation (I assume) in 1989. I was still following He-Man and Thundercats back then.Hope this is 1989, and this gives us a spark. Too early to know, but we have some players.
Not a knock on P-Nut because everyone does this but on the last play, why do teams leave a QB in the game? Put your 6 best athletes in the game with 5 OL. Snap it to one of them and start running around doing the lateral thing. Eliminate the pass rush and accurate throw from the equation.
Clemson may the best defense in College FootballDefense played amazing, special teams was pretty good overall. Needed to be able to find the endzone but Clemson's defense is really good. Shame we couldn't pull it out but a good showing.
Then we should have thrown 10 yards to the sideline real quick to get to the 35. Then put Sims in the game throw the hail merry. I'm a nerd just always thinking of different ways to do thingsBecause if you can get the pass even 20 yards down the field you're that much closer which probably is a bigger benefit than whatever the 6th best athlete brings over your QB.
