This game proves to me that we may have found ourselves a QB that can run the offense against a VERY good D. Playing with poise, confidence and leadership from the QB position, helped by good OL and WR play will make us competitive in lots of games this year, IMO. Well played and fought to the end ! Yates could have easily been like the Alabama quarterback facing a big crowd but he showed what he was made of and earned the respect of both his teammates and the mighty Tigers. We looked like a football team today. A fine job by Coach Collins and his staff in motivating our players to execute the game plan and not be intimidated by all the noise and hoopla at Death Valley.

So Clemson really isn't good on offense this year

Either way Our D showed up tonight and we need to do that from here on out.

Our offense really made some bad mistakes, we beat ourselves . But we have a QB with Yates.

As bad as this feels, we kept Clemson to 14 we should be proud of that. That's an improvement.

Defense played amazing, special teams was pretty good overall. Needed to be able to find the endzone but Clemson's defense is really good. Shame we couldn't pull it out but a good showing.

Defense looks legit. Clemson's D is legit but offense battled and never quit. Great effort and game. Just need the young talent to get old and bring in 1-2 more classes and we are going to be really good.

The postgame on ESPN2 is giving us kudos. They’re pretty good with the play calling. They’re trashing Clemson’s offense and their offensive line. He just said “GT stuffed Clemson”.

We played a great game. This is the kind of game that starts something good.

@GT_05 The Balboa tag fits for most of the team.

I don’t know if we’ll have a winning season, but we’ll take the field and play 60 like a real team each game.

Absolutely loved the effort today. Can't say it enough our team played HARD!!! So proud of Yates, Dline, entire defense, and the offense! Hate it that we lost, but this is the first sign of what we have been waiting on!
