GT vs uGA uniforms

Not sure how the extension with Adidas looks, but hoping we can get the new Adidas template this offseason along with a general uniform update.

Graduated from the College of Design so looking at the triple mismatch in gold in the uniforms the past two years has been pretty aggravating to say the least.

Yeah I don't know what color scheme they are going for on the helmet. Is that a metallic gold GT in an old gold helmet?

How many different football helmets does Tech own? Then there's football pants. We must have a warehouse full of those in different styles and colors. It looks like (and I could be wrong) those uniforms in the photos have black trim instead of blue.

White and gold helmets, just changing decals. The trim is blue, if you look at the top of the pants stripe and at the numbers on the jersey you can see it.

Thanks. I can see navy blue outlining the numbers, but after brightening my screen and enlarging the photo, the outlining on the pants stripe still looks black. I'll take your word for it. It really doesn't matter especially if we win. :cool:

As I said earlier during Dodd’s glory years there was no GT on the helmet so if you don’t see it just imagine being back in those days! The GWG is already there anyway!

Same gold clash between helmet and pants, too. I kind of like it that we aren't making a vain attempt to match them.
Is that the Green Bay Packers we're playing?

Cool. This isn’t the 1950s though, and we aren’t wearing throwbacks. Nobody wore a logo on their helmet back then, it wasn’t special to Dodd’s GT teams. Nobody had thought about putting anything besides paint on the helmets yet. Then one day, somebody decided it would be cool to put a logo on there that would show up on TV cameras and fans in the stands could see. These gimmicky ghosted logos and whatever you wanna call this look ridiculous, and we’re getting flamed for it. The only people that like it are Tech fans that respond “🔥🔥” to everything. I haven’t liked our silly helmet designs all year, but we’ve won some games in them. Hope we win Friday.
