Hope Parr gets his act together. Batters are hitting .344 against him and he has 9 BB versus 8 SOs. But he has the team fourth best ERA of 5.4 for pitchers with 9 or more innings pitched.

Mid week game doesn't affect ACC, but it would be good to get some consistency here. I'd expect Parr to only go 40/50 pitches /3 or so innings unless he is on fire.

I'd like to see Ben get it going like the weekend guys have the last few games. It looks like the weekend starters may well be settling in but guys like Ben and Devin could be a big key to how the overall season goes. Zac loooks like he's enjoying the closer role so if Tech can get 2-3 of the staff going we could be having a fun season!

We've had 13 players pitch for us so far. http://beesball.com/stats2015.html 17+ on roster. Just have to keep trying till we find the best ......

Zac and Cole Pitts seem to be the best closers so far. Ben S and Gorst middle relief? We just need more run time, but there are a lot of possibilities. No Nolan Ryan, Randy Johnson, Roger Clemons or Goose on the staff, but a lot of players who can throw strikes and let us win games.

Looks to me like Cole Pitts will be in our starting rotation on weekends. That only leaves Zac Ryan as a go to guy in the 'pen.

Pitching depth is a huge issue for us right now. Gorst has very good stuff, but is just too wild. Not sure what is going on with Stanton...I think he can provide us with some excellent long relief and they may even try him as a second closer. Beyond that, the other guys are really just getting hit too hard right now to have much confidence in.

Well we don't have our ace in either. Parr gave up 3 hits and a walk in the first . We are lucky to only be down 0-1. 27 pitches and 16 strikes (59%). Hope Parr finds the zone. Only 1 of the 3 hits was a "quality" hit. The other two were a Texas league single and one where the first baseman would be if there hadn't been someone on.......

We just need some runs. A lead off double by Spingola bodes well. If we get up, Ga Southern leaving the bases loaded can weigh on them.

Superman has his cape on. HR GT 2-1. You would have thought with Kel getting the grand slam to win the last game they would have been more careful in pitching him, especially with only a runner on second. But with our hitters, who do you want? Even Pabst is hot now.

Bases loaded for Tech with no outs in the B4.

One run comes in on a HBP for Spingy. Tech leads 5-2, bases still loaded no outs. Can't stress the importance of the DP in the previous inning...

Smitty grounds out, but a run comes in. Tech leads 6-2.

They walk Kel Johnson, and AJ Murray lasers a hit down RF line for a 2 RBI double. 8-2

Innis singles and Kel "Superman" Johnson scores. 9-2, 1 out with runners on corners in B4.

Wow. A lot of runs. Bailey (another Fr phenom) hits a triple. 11-2. Still one out in the fourth.

End of 4, 11-2. 12 GT batters to the plate that inning. Like 4 walks and one hit batter (the walk to Kel was intentional). But still, you've gotta throw strikes and let your D play, no matter who you are.

Ga Southern on their 4th pitcher. None have done their ERA any good. We should be able to easily hold the line now with a quick hook if need be. That DP we turned with bases loaded in T4 was big as Army said.

11 to 4 after Innis miss plays a ball in the outfield which should have been a single, but is a triple. Two unearned runs

Then Shelton strikes out three in a row (y)

Next inning Shelton walks the first two and is pulled :censored::devil: WTF can't we be consistent? Glad to see Hall pulled him quick. Gorst is in now. 4th pitcher, but we have 17+. Ga Southern has to play tomorrow!

Now sac to make it 11-5 in the 7th with 2 outs. 7 outs to go ........
