I 100% believe the refs are what allowed Syracuse to get back into the game. Syracuse won it from there.

The thing is Cuse outplayed us in the second half. They may have made the comeback anyways because they started the second half making some just great plays and we didn't play particularly well. However the refs were so different on both sides of the court. We weren't allowed to have basically any contact while Cuse was able to steadily increase the physicality with no recourse until the point their play was putting our guys in danger. Only then did the refs actually start calling anything on Cuse and by then they had a lead, momentum, and the crowd behind them. Now we didn't handle their play all that well and may have lost anyways, but we will never know now. Because the refs allowed one team to play a certain way and the other team not.

Earlier in the year Brey went off on the refs and they had 2.5 times more FTs than us. Now Boeheim goes off on the refs at the half and suddenly we're down 8-1 in fouls to begin the second half. If you are a veteran coach in this league you can have so much influence on the refs that it is ridiculous.

The poor ref’ing and foul calling disparity definitely gave them a boost. But we got outplayed in the second half. Poor offensive rhythm. Lots of turnovers. Bottom line, they adjusted and played well down the stretch, we faded.

The most frustrating part to me is that we were dominating them in the first half. Getting Moses heavily involved in the middle, stretching the zone with some nice looks for 3 by Devoe and Jose. Unfortunately it turned into another “could have been” kind of game

Cuse finally found a way to slow down Moses in the second half. They simply hammered him in the paint. Since the refs refused to call any fouls (except against us), their strategy worked quite well.

Well Pastner needs to grow a pair and ask the refs are they so intimidated they’re going to start calling a bunch of fouls on us

This team probably wins a couple more games. With our record we are not seeing any post season play. Time to drop the appeal and just get it over with as soon as possible. This is a pretty decent team that just hasn't played up to its potential. Injury to Jose and not having Usher hurt earlier and Parham has not been the scorer we expected. Moses has been good this year but our shift to a more dribble drive offense has not benefited Banks. He was scoring a lot more earlier this year. The refs have not been kind to him last 2 games. Can't score if you're on the bench either.

Officiating was **** but there’s no excuse for pissing away double digit leads game after game. That probably the 6th game at least that we’ve had a double digit lead and lost. You want to be an NCAA tournament team, you don’t let that happen.

We had 5 more turnovers than them in the second half and got called for NINETEEN fouls IN THE SECOND HALF. They had 24 free throw attempts.....IN THE SECOND HALF.

All Refs can go **** themselves. They ruin every sport they touch.

IIrc, the announcers said at half we were something like 8-1 with a lead at half.

We didn't shoot many 3's in the 2nd half. Cole's turnovers and sloppy hands from all our bigs were disappointing. The refs changed their game at the start of the 2nd. Too much to overcome.

I would play Cole over Banks. I’m sorry but he has disappeared of late. Officiating was absolutely terrible.

Banks is the 4th option at highest for us on offense most of the time behind Jose, Mike, and Moses. Cole would maybe be a slight upgrade offensively, but you're trading probably our most important defender for a slight upgrade at the #4 option on offense? To me that's not really worth it at least for more than a breather.
