2-0 against undefeated teams from the state of Florida
As my username indicates, I’m in Florida now. After UCF, FSU & Miami games, I ride around the neighborhood on my bike wearing one of my Tech shirts.

Just wish we could play the Gators and be the Florida state champ. Doesn’t look like they will be bowl eligible unless they can beat LSU or Ole Miss.

FSU is a given.

The OL deserves more love. Everyone figured out early that when King was in the game we were going to run. It is hard to run when the defense knows you are going to run.

9-14 on third down was huge. That ten minute TD drive was huge. Big (but clean) hit to separate their good receiver from the ball late was huge.

Lots of warriors out there today.

My second time seeing Philo play and he still looks like a natural slinger to me. Very excited about him.

After savoring a perfect steak and having a nagging piece of grizzle between my teeth: Cooley running out of bounds to avoid contact 1 yard short of the sticks on second down...C'mon man! But he is a tough cat to take a face mask yank followed by an attempted beheading.

WhooBoy, Miami is a chippy team. They are easy to dislike. I don't understand the non-call on the targeting review on the play that took out Jamal Haynes. We're such a more dangerous team with a healthy Jamal Haynes.

Finally saw some of Buster’s creativity on offense this week. What a great job, and a total team effort. King and Philo platooning at QB, the entire RB room pitching in, Singleton, Rutherford, Lane, and Stockton all had huge plays at WR, and of course the OL and TEs lead the way for 271 yards on the ground. Absolute definition of “next man up” and everybody played hard and contributed their part. Miami was totally unprepared for all of the different looks we threw at them today, and our offense looked a lot more like the team that ended the season last year instead of the one we’ve seen most of this season.

Santucci’s defense had 3 sacks and didn’t allow Ward to escape the pocket and make plays. There were lots of plays they didn’t quite get him to the ground but forced him to throw the ball away or make a poor throw. The secondary had downfield receivers covered up pretty well, and made some huge open field tackles.

Tech legitimately looked like the better team today. Hopefully this win propels the program forward in a big way. Most of our losses this year are to teams with similar talent, and games we shoulda/coulda/woulda won with some better execution and luck. It’s exciting watching so many young players make plays all over the field, and I really hope we keep them out of the portal this offseason. We’ve got a chance to finish this year with some special wins, and next year could really be special

conversely, I think I saw our D yielded 3-10 on 3rd down and 1 - 4 on fourth. CPJ would have given his left (and maybe his right too) arm for something like that. Considering it was against the highest rated scoring offense (iirc) it was like watching a game from when Tenuta or GOL (the DC, not the HC) were on the sidelines from a defensive standpoint. today was a reminder of how much fun fb is to watch when all 3 units do their jobs well.

First….helluva game by everyone including players and coaches.

i’ll pick one nit….4th quarter, 2 and 1/2 minutes left, GT would love to run out the clock. 3rd and 1 for GT at our own 37. GO UNDER CENTER AND RUN THE Q B SNEAK WITH A TUSH PUSH!! Instead, we go from the I, fake to the RB up the middle and try King on a bootleg, losing 2 yards and forcing us to punt. This set up the great defensive strip sack, but we should have been able to keep the clock moving there with a sneak.
Amen i was so mad about that, should be a no-brainer

You honestly knew something special was happening today when the student section got a full stadium YELLOW! JACKETS! call-and-response started organically. You could tell the defense was feeding off the crowd energy today.
This happened often in the late 90s/early 00s. So much better than the video board. Way to go students! They really brought it today.
