Yep, our team we won’t play is SMU. This was almost certainly done for TV revenue reasons. Now the ACC can handpick 4 big TV games for the most popular programs instead of 3 - for instance, their rotating home+home matchup for Duke was Louisville, so you’ll get 2 Top 25 matchups out of that series rather than 1 and a game between Duke/BC and Louisville/Cal (or whoever they didn’t draw - I made up BC and Cal there).
We got Cal (projected 15th in ACC) rotating which is pretty friendly IMO. Clemson (projected 6th) twice is tough, but hopefully they regress with some core pieces graduating and mostly senior transfer leadership.
