Co-op was a sacrifice to joining almost all colleges using a semester system. Do you know what % of students were vs now are Co-op students?
I don't know, but the number of companies that will sign up for a multiple rotation with the same student is much lower. He's had to find a job with a different company each time. COVID hurt this as well. And there doesn't seem to be as much support from the co-op office. I could be remembering wrong, but I thought they used to help match you to someone on the opposite rotation to help with housing. Housing had been a nightmare, because the wait lists are so long for on campus, and off campus, there are few places that will let you have the short lease.
