Thank you for sharing my sentiments.

Insufferable to hear the announcer say at least 20 times that if uga beats Tech they’re in the playoffs. Who says?!!! Worked the playoff committee ALMOST as hard as Kirby Smart was working the refs.

Reminded me again about the lack of class in the whole SEC ecosystem.
Shoot imagine being a senior student at uga. In 4 years you have experienced:
- 31-0 at home
- 16-0 against top 4 rivals (us, Florida, Auburn, Tennessee)
- 2 natties

I cannot comprehend what it must be like to go on a run like that. Ef ‘em

They definitely picked up a few Penn St fans All the Penn St forum guys were pulling for Ga Tech. I was switching back and forth. Dang I wanted that win.
Thanks for reminding us. Much of football fandom around the country, that still believe in decency and the free world, was pulling hard for Tech. Sidewalk fans may start trickling back to the flats.

Look man, I’m not going to resort to name calling, but a “foolish” thing to do is to look at something without any context and take it simply as black or white. I never said anything was on any coach. I simply laughed at the idea that he “out coached” anyone. He can call a good game plan and overall do a good job and still not “out coach” the other coach.
Georgia is a far more talented team. That is very easy to see. If you don’t believe that then you are in denial.

King pas likely around 75% capable on throwing the ball. He didn’t have any zip on passes but made great decisions and throws all night.

We simply don’t have the studs on the DL that can generate pass pressure. Georgia did a good job with their blitz pickup.

Our coaches developed excellent game plans and the players executed then very well.

Georgia is one of the best teams in College football again this year.

As a 70 year sidewalk fan (started at age 6), I truly believed I would never see GT win over UGA in my lifetime I don’t believe that any longer. What I hate with a passion is posters using the word “choke” or “embarrassed” with reference to this game. Clearly, you know nothing about competitive sports if you can apply those terms to that game. Also, do you think Kirby could take our roster and beat our coaches with his roster. I don’t. The NFL draft will tell you about the talent being even. It’s not close. But, superior coaching, kids with heart and toughness and excellent execution kept us ahead or even all night. If you can’t find inspiration in that, I never want to go to, or watch, a game with you.
Great post man!

If Tech wants to win games like this, we needed to pound the ball in the EZ more in the first half. Period. Everyone knew the dwags would score some points in the 2nd half, we just needed to capitalize more in the first when we had them reeling. Period. Same script as Bama game, score way more then them in first half. Until we can do this to teams, we are gonna remain in dogfights and leave the game to the refs. Killer instinct. Score more points.
Need more talented players. The guys we have gave all they had. That is what is needed to become a better team.

I have been an avid Tech fan for 45 years and this may be the toughest loss I have ever had to stomach. But if it is this bad for me, I cannot even imagine how bad the players coaches must feel. CBK’s press conference tells it all. I hurt for him as I know how bad he wanted it.

But let’s remember that we got beaten consecutively 52-7 and 45-0 just a few years ago by these guys. What this team has done in just two years is phenomenal even though the record does not necessarily show it. Haynes King will go down as one of the best players and leaders Tech has ever had. I hope he comes back next year and we have a season to remember.
