I didn't post after the game last night. I almost did, but decided to wait until this morning. It still stings this morning. We had many opportunities to beat those MFrs, but didn't. I don't take any moral victories from it. We lost pure and simple.

However: Three years ago we lost this game 45-0 one week after losing in South Bend 55-6. GT was a joke of a team for three years. Last night we went toe-to-toe with a team that will be in the championship playoffs. A few weeks ago we beat a team that is one win away from being guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. Last night we dominated every stat except the score in front of what had to be an extremely large TV audience. Next week we will sign the best recruiting class in at least the last 20 years. I will be surprised if GT isn't in the pre-season top 25. Last night stank. But the future of GT football looks better than it did in 2014. The long term future of GT football looks better than it has since the late 90s.

I absolutely hate losing the game last night. But I am also extremely proud to be a Yellow Jacket!!!
I am gutted and sick about the outcome of this game but will recover and so will our team- We are winning the ACC and beating these dwag bastards in the dome next season!

Can we all agree that
Joe Tesstitore was so freaking unbearable last night, couldn't even hide how much he was in bed with the Sec and UGA. Made me sick how much he talked about UGA last night when they were going for a score or did score...then hardly anything when it was Tech

In a game with a ridiculous number of 2 point tries, one is puzzling to me. Does anyone know why Kirby went for 2 after their first TD in the 3rd quarter?
He knew if he did, and didn't make it, they would tie it up in regulation so we could have the second most number of overtimes in college football history.

Amen, running straight up the middle with HK was SO unimaginative, everybody in the stadium knew that was coming
A split second decision by HK, I don't fault him, that in hindsight he should have handed to Singleton on the jet. I truly think that Singleton gets in for the 2 points. We had a receiver to block the DB and Eric out runs the uGa player trying to track him.

All I know is if that’s the SECs best team, then the ACC is a helluva better football conference than the SEC.
I heard on of the ESPN announcers say GT played like and SEC team this morning. No i watched and SEC team going to the Championship game that won by a whisker against an unranked ACC team with 4 losses.

One of the 2-pt conversion plays was a read option -QB dive - or jet sweep. King made the wrong decision. Singleton would have gone into the end zone untouched. That was after the mutts missed their conversion, and GT would have won on that play. Looked almost like when Marshall kept the ball on the last play of the Tenn game while Benson was open for the pitch. Different play, but same type of decision and same result.
Agree 💯, just commented on that the ball should have gone to Singleton.

As a 70 year sidewalk fan (started at age 6), I truly believed I would never see GT win over UGA in my lifetime I don’t believe that any longer. What I hate with a passion is posters using the word “choke” or “embarrassed” with reference to this game. Clearly, you know nothing about competitive sports if you can apply those terms to that game. Also, do you think Kirby could take our roster and beat our coaches with his roster. I don’t. The NFL draft will tell you about the talent being even. It’s not close. But, superior coaching, kids with heart and toughness and excellent execution kept us ahead or even all night. If you can’t find inspiration in that, I never want to go to, or watch, a game with you.

Watched that play again and it looks like a designed QB keep , Georgia just beat the blocks on that right side . I didn’t hate the call after begging them to let king just run it after so many failed 2 point attempts

It seemed like Kirby Smart had license to go on the field however many times he felt like. He only got a warning when it was...which overtime period again

Haven't seen a replay with a focus on the clock on the play, but doesn't seem like you can simultaneously not give King forward progress AND say he fumbled AND also put time back on the clock to 2:05, which gives UGA a free play before the 2 minute warning.

But the refs were all in on the home cooking in the fourth quarter. I saw at least 2 holding penalties not called against UGA in key situations, but they're Johnny on the spot to call Tech for the false start (or whatever it was).

It didn't affect the gameplay but I was very tired of being reminded every other play that if UGA wins they get in the playoff. Did you know that? Did you also know that the UGA players had never lost a home game either? I'm actually quite shocked they didn't restate the obvious: that none of the UGA players have ever lost to Tech.
Thank you for sharing my sentiments.

Insufferable to hear the announcer say at least 20 times that if uga beats Tech they’re in the playoffs. Who says?!!! Worked the playoff committee ALMOST as hard as Kirby Smart was working the refs.

Reminded me again about the lack of class in the whole SEC ecosystem.
