Long snapper is a very important position when a mistake is made. Till then, perfection is expected.
I think his 15 yard snap times at less than .7 seconds are fabulous. Most in college are 1.2-1.5 seconds (according to a LS who played for us). If he is the fastest and most accurate on the team, he will start. Then CPJ will (and should) give him a scholarship.
ST are about 25% of the game. A good LS is essential for punting, extra points (we should almost always run for 2 IMHO), and FGs. The kicker will be much calmer with a LS he trusts.
If he has great time and accuracy, he can stay for 15 years in the NFL since the LS only comes in for kicks and isn't allowed to get obliterated any more. This is good news.
