Why didn't I think of this? The solution was so simple: Just stay out of the bars and the problem is solved. Wow, that was easy.

So apparently women are still available as punching bags at any fraternity; sorority; or campus dorm events and parties. Because we all know alcoholic beverages are not available anywhere else other than at bars.

It would have made much more sense for Jimbo to fall on his sword and admit that he has brought low character players into his program and exposed them to the entire FSU campus and Tallahassee community.

If the NCAA were to institute a three strikes policy for criminal conduct by players, then FSU would be on probation right now. Maybe FSU and UGA could play each every year in the inaugural: Longest Yard Kickoff Classic.

Yes, he has recruited low lifes. But FSU knew exactly what they were getting when they booted Bowden -- and no argument here that he stayed too long -- just as UNC knew what they were getting in Butch Davis. It is what they wanted: win, baby, win, and bring cash dollars into the stadiums, from TV, from boosters, and keep it coming. And when you read about these title fights in bars, it is fair to wonder: are these the type of people who actually go to a college class?

Good get, this. You know, in a more perfect world, the team and administration would be mortified that such shuffling of the deck chairs was even considered. But I forget. It is the state of Florida, and it is FSU.

As you probably heard, Cook was found 'not guilty' yesterday by the kangaroo court.

Basically the teammates, whose stories were all contradictory at the time of the incident, were all in lockstep on the witness stand. IIUC, the prosecution was not allowed to grill them as to why the stories changed.

One teammate, under oath, professed Cook's innocence despite clearly not having seen or been present at the incident. How nice of him.

What a joke. The biggest loser here is Cook's next victim. #ThanksTallahassee
