I probably won't see you at the game. It is likely that I need a night game in order to make it because of a kid's high school sporting competition. If I could get by without any repercussions I would! Have to do what you have to do, even when it sucks sometimes.
Hoping I might be able to make at least part of the game, but to do that, I need a nooner.
Not my kids! They're smarter than that!My daughter's wedding is this weekend. You raise them right and you get weddings on bye weeks!!
Last year we went 6-6 and at least got ourselves facing a team from the Big 12.I know we're not playing for much more than a bowl game against some Sun Belt opponent
I’m thinking the same thing. Night game at Bobby Dodd.FWIW Kelly Quinlan is guessing we get ACCN at 8pm.
A Big Boi show at 9:30am would be pretty funny. I'm personally rooting for the 8pm kick. Bobby Dodd has historically been a madhouse under those conditions (Top 5 opponent, night game, plus throw in a pregame Outkast show at HBP). I know we're not playing for much more than a bowl game against some Sun Belt opponent, but it would be undeniably a pretty fun evening, at least while the game remains competitive. Even though we lost the Georgia game last year, you have to admit it was a pretty intense environment and people were locked in and hanging on every play. It's the only time I've seen Bobby Dodd Stadium stand the entire game.
We were about 5 min from playing in the Birmingham Bowl if I remember correctly. I don’t recall the specifics of how it switched.Last year we went 6-6 and at least got ourselves facing a team from the Big 12.
true but with our win over FSU (which isn't good looking NOW) getting us national exposure there's a chance we get a little respect. We were about 5 min from playing in the Birmingham Bowl if I remember correctly. I don’t recall the specifics of how it switched.

Duke had played in the bowl in Tampa the year before and they didn't want them in back to back years. It may have been an ACC office decision due to the bowl tie ins.We were about 5 min from playing in the Birmingham Bowl if I remember correctly. I don’t recall the specifics of how it switched.
Let's look at the bright side: if HK is healthy, we won't be left out of the CFP for lack of a starting quarterback. They screwed up and would have had another matchup being a rematch of sorts.
Lots of ifs and buts to come… but IF we end up 6-6 and IF that 6th win is over NCST, I envision our bowl game will be affected by how we play against Miami and u(sic)ga. AND how healthy our team is.
We don’t know the time of the Miami game, but it likely could be a night slot with a lot of eyes. We already know the u(sic)ga will have a lot of eyes on black Friday at night. And to that end, so will NCST (Thursday night matchup).
VPI was clearly our worst performance. But it was a nooner and on the ACC-ocho.
Our bowl game could be down graded because of all our NFL prospects sitting out. They screwed up and would have had another matchup being a rematch of sorts.
