Collins didn't like questions about why the team lost. He wanted them to instead ask questions about the "huge" 4th down stops. Why does “tabbed for being too negative” mean?
First question, Quinlan asked if there was some common thread to the close losses, and Collins replied that Quinlan always wants to harp on the negative, instead of recognizing the positive plays that gave the team a chance to win.Why does “tabbed for being too negative” mean?
Jfc. You win three games for three years in a row and then can’t handle when someone asks about the losses??? Gonna get worse before it gets better. Guys in way over his headFirst question, Quinlan asked if there was some common thread to the close losses, and Collins replied that Quinlan always wants to harp on the negative, instead of recognizing the positive plays that gave the team a chance to win.
Not a fabulous reply, IMO
He really has no self-awareness. He reminds me of the ostrich with his head in the sand or the monkeys who see no evil, speak no evil, & hear no evil. He lives in his own “elite made-up world”.Just watched. Not a good look for CGC or the program to whine about hard questions. That weren’t even hard. Dude coached in Philly for two years, a city where fans literally pelted Santa with frozen batteries and he called two questions about trends in losses and how to keep the team/staff/program from being frustrated with the inability to close overly negative?
It’s like Crash told nuke in Bull Durham. You can have gimmicks when you’re winning. When you stink, you just look stupid. Well CGC congrats. Can someone grab the Waffle House cup and throw it away? Cute when you’re winning. Not so much when you’re winning three games a year.
