What say you?

I say that Duke is in a similar situation we were in going into the Louisville game. Not much left in the tank. Coming off a rivalry game for them and a bye week for us bodes well. I believe that the only way Duke can win is through a sloppy and ugly game which is what they do this year. Tech needs to avoid penalties, blocked punts, turnovers because this is a team that thrives on that sort of thing. What say you?

Blocked punts that cross the LOS should not be able to be recovered unless the team that blocked the kick touches the ball unrelated to the block.I say that Duke is in a similar situation we were in going into the Louisville game. UNC being the most recent example. Duke down 20-0 early in the second half goes back to punt, UNC blocks punt ball takes a crazy backward bounce crossing the LOS. Three Tarheels stand around watching the ball allowing an alert Blue Devil to pounce on it. Duke's quarterback heaves a ball about 30 yards and is caught. Duke finds its running game, scores a TD and proceeds to come from behind erasing a 20 point lead in the process. Can Manny get his boys to reach beyond their talent level one more time? I don't think so. Tech by about a TD.
I was wondering about that. I did not see the play..did the ball roll far enough forward to pass the line to gain before Duke recovered? I have been trying to imagine how Duke maintained possession after recovering a blocked kick on 4th down.Blocked punts that cross the LOS should not be able to be recovered unless the team that blocked the kick touches the ball unrelated to the block.
I went looking for a video of this play. All the discussion I read (can't find video) indicated that it was actually NC punting. Duke blocked it and knocked the ball around while trying to recover...NC recovers, kept possession and went on to kick a field goal to make it 20 to 0.I say that Duke is in a similar situation we were in going into the Louisville game.
