I know most coaches plan down to the smallest details but it’s nice to have a coach again who plans for every scenario, gaming out when to call timeouts, when to tell Faulkner this is four down territory and plan accordingly, and even practicing in which game situation you will go for the blocked punt and then pulling it off.

You can’t be perfect 100% of the time but if not it won’t be from lack of preparation. Maybe it’s the contrast with the former coach but I am continually impressed with the work ethic of this staff.

Seriously, that kind of talk needs to be be between him and the team only and let the physicality show on the field. Some coaches are always looking for bulletin board material. Having said that, Brown went overboard on it.

All due respect, coaches have talked publicly about needing to play physical since football has had media coverage. Franny just showed himself to be Pat Narduzzi Jr. Fair enough. Receipts quietly kept for the rematch next year.
