Great defensive effort!!! The refs gave WF that last TD on that BS pass interference call. Kudos to Thacker. A lot of people on this board were ready to fire him last week. It’s a long season but we are improving.

Good to see that the Dlineman were some of the leading tacklers tonight. Really glad to see Biggers and Lockett up there also.

Hated the ref show. Love winning an ACC game. The good thing is we have a ton of room for improvement and this is our first step in learning how to win.

definitely puts a bowl back in play. A loss would have been rough. Interception was so huge with WF driving for a tie TD. Gutsy performance. Clearly need to clean up the penalties but nice to talk about thst with s win!

Couldn’t see the game in NE Florida. Looked like it would be a comfortable win until the 4th quarter.
More penalties (14) than all the other games.

Good to see us come out on top.

Conference road win as 7 point underdogs is good however ugly.

Def PI on us followed by push off TD catch by Wake receiver was pitiful. If you call it tight call it both ways. Ditto for holding calls.

DL came through in a big way. D is improving.

I think UGA is really missing Buster looking at the way they’ve been playing.

Edit: ok, maybe not, but still.. I think Buster is the real deal.

Key is a REAL coach. Just like CPJ. This is what the team needed. Couldn’t be happier having him steer the ship

Couldn’t agree more. Felt sick watching the offense shoot themselves in the foot all night. Lack of running lanes was frustrating too. Don’t even want to start on the refs. That was atrocious. Defense stepped up when needed time and time again. Big time win. Need a lot of improvement coming down the stretch after BG. Think we can get to bowl eligibility.

DEFENSE won the game tonight. Dominated an explosive offensive team.

Against a relatively evenly matched team, we won turnovers and special teams convincingly. +4 in turnovers is a fantastic way to offset our penalty issues.

I thought the refs were fine. The Johnson PI was an obvious outlier, but I'm struggling to remember other egregious examples. Gotta clean that up, but awesome we muscled through.

Great rebound by the D today. A LOT to still work on, but I didn't foresee nor think we had that type of disruption in us.

Birr looked comfortable out there. That's big.

How about Shanahan's booming punt that caused a fumble? Awesome recovery by Alexander when it looked like the returner had position.

Wild that we did not have a single drive of more than 7 plays on the game.
