Disclaimer: I didn’t see much of the game last night. The (new) troubling thing to me is that we now have been shut out at least once during each of our last three ACC series. I don’t get how we can sandwich a bagel between two double digit games. I get that it’s baseball and you run into pitchers that are just “on”. But it is starting to happen too often for me to think that it’s “just baseball”. Anyone have any explanations?
We have 7 freshmen in the starting lineup right now. Even though they are all talented and have shown flashes, inconsistency just comes with that amount of inexperience, unfortunately.

Change2... 5pm first pitch today

Excellent, the sooner the better.

Wish they'd moved it earlier - rain % probability spikes at 7PM. But get most of game in if not all and finish tomorrow.

Trying to decide what type of beer to drink, decisions, decisions.

I'd recommend a nice IPA to start to celebrate spring. Then perhaps transition to Guinness, since spring hasn't completely arrived here in Cincinnati as the snow gods emphatically declared on Wednesday morning. Either way, if there is a beer that you drink when Georgia Tech wins, drink THAT BEER!

They have Scofflaw Basement in the new champions area.

Actually, I just got back with a Guinness Draught Stout to start and maybe an Aleworks Brown Tavern Ale. Wanted more a a session beer, and the IPA can give me a headache (especially Voodoo Ranger). Plus I got some Utz Kettle Classic Salt & Malt Vinegar potato chips.

Regardless of the game, this will be good :)

And yes, I am trying to find the right combination for a win.

FYI, the game is being carried now on ACC Network, not just ACC Network Extra (for those of us not yet experts on the streaming side of things).

Actually not too bad....

1st one was an 8 pitch walk... credit batter.

2nd was to nations HR leader. He took Hurter deep last night after he fell behind.

ETA... too many walks now. Yes ☹

Yea, the line is sad. 2 innings. FSU has 2 hits. But 4 runs. AND, 3 more left on base. Sad.

Wow, it’s a cumulative 18-1 at this point. Rumors of rumors of GTs demise being rejuvenated here.

Well, down by 4 with 2 sets of at-bats left. Crazier things have happened. Would be nice to pull off a miracle comeback. Was a well timed stoppage - we score 6 and then exit stage left.

Down 0-2 in the series heading into the final game...and give up 5 runs in the first inning.

We're in a sad and major swoon. Way too much talent on the team to have this happen. FSU has 6 underclassmen in their starters...true, only a couple freshmen. But its the end of April, a freshmen has been in college for almost a year at this point. Other teams play with a lot of young guys too.
