That was 40 year home coming game against #4 vt . We came from Texas to see game ( was wife's first time at Bobby dodd and my first in 40 years.) From North end zone upper deck I shouted Yellow and she shouted back Jackets during a very hard fought game.
The joy on the field was so fun to watch -when fans and some players rushed the North end zone to sing rambling wreck.

Absolutely fantastic game. IBB was correct that was by far the best game with the exception of the ACC Championshp game.

Wife was worried Junior was going to get arrested running onto field to tear down the goalposts & then not get accepted. There was no place he wanted to go despite the $$ differential between there and others with hefty scholarship money available. Thankfully GT overlooked all the weaknesses in his application and early admitted him about a month later.

Oh man, I bet that one hurt! Especially since it was "friendly fire" as I recall. Anyway "Ballin" was up and at em again in no time.
