In Roof's 5 seasons as our DC, he was part of 2 wins against UGA. How many other wins has GT had against UGA since O'Leary left GT? ONE. In 2008.
He had two seasons where his DFEI numbers were the best GT has performed since the metric has been recorded...outside of 2008, CPJ's first season. 2008 was the highest DFEI GT has ever achieved at 37. It was also a defense LOADED with NFL defensive talent.
At some point, GT fans need to realize that Roof was a good DC. Was he great? No...but he was better than GT fans give him credit for.
I know you think it's funny to jump on the "Ted Roof is terrible" bandwagon, but when Roof has had some of GT's best defenses in the last 20 years, and his defenses were a big part of 2 of our only 3 wins against UGA in the last 20 years, you just start sounding like your ice cream choices...terrible.
