My, man. Joe Hamilton. Most of our qb's have/had that hit avoidance gene. The best I ever saw at was Lil' Joe. Vad, not so much.

I agree. We have had guys who, in the exact same scenario, would not have been lit up. They would have tucked and fallen forward. Vad just didn't have that football sixth sense. Wasn't he the guy who would turn sideways to get OOB to avoid contact when others (JN, TW, JT,) would have dove forward and under to get the extra yard or two to move the chains?
Wait a minute. Joe Hamilton may have known how to avoid a hit when taking one wasn't necessary, but he was absolutely fearless when it was. I've seen the little guy dive head first at the goal line knowing full well he was going to get slammed.
I can’t remember any other QB getting hit like this on a option play. Only other big hit come to mind is JT getting rocked on a PA pass vs Miami
Nesbitt got rocked pretty hard, i think by Bruce Carter, against UNC as well.
Do you think there is a chance CPJ pulls BStew from return duty to keep him fresh for wideout? I don’t recall us ever having a main target at WR being the returner

Regardless of who returns KOs, why the hell do they always run straight into the wall of oncoming defenders, instead of heading towards the sideline like most KO returners do at other schools. It's not like he ever has any blockers in front of him at Tech to make a straight up the field return productive.
Has anyone heard any reports from the scrimmage today?
I’ve been keeping an eye out for something lol.Nope. And it’s about time you got to work. We have been waiting patiently.

It was a closed scrimmage, no reports
Ken’s a good writer. I cringe when I hear him ask questions, but he sure can write!Well I refuse to “like this”
Did come across this article about Brant. Sorry if it’s already been posted elsewhere.

I think he does a DAMN GOOD JOB. For a non-Tech fan journalist, he probably knows more about Tech and its history and traditions than most of the people posting on here.Meh...he writes some good pieces from time to time. He’s about all we’ve got nowadays so I won’t complain too much.
Ken does a great job. Chris at the Athletic is doing an absolute amazing job so far. Highly recommend getting a subscription if you're looking for more.Meh...he writes some good pieces from time to time. He’s about all we’ve got nowadays so I won’t complain too much.
