Now that's some COFH - which is sadly lacking around here.I'm in if they agree to carpet bomb the ugag sideline.
Is this our first flyover since the low pass that cost a couple aviators their wings?
The squad arrived at Dobbins yesterday about 10AM and performed a few local "practice runs" prior to landing. You sleepy heads need to be in your seats by 11:30AM Saturday for Senior Day Recognition and a F-16 flyover.
They were in 18's. A tad louder than the 16's that will be here tomorrow, if that matters any.I was at that one and I couldn't believe how slow and low they flew over.

Did those guys ever get their wings back?
Does that mean they basically had to retire? They never lost their wings but were unpromotable. (According to another Naval Aviator.)
Yes, after some years of less desirable assignments. I assume they made it to 20 years.Does that mean they basically had to retire?
Thanks for the info. I hated it for the guys. I was hoping the story had a better ending.Yes, after some years of less desirable assignments. I assume they made it to 20 years.
