Among other things, this class has a few 4-star kids that are very highly sought after recruits and a number of other high 3-star kids. Rivals has our class as 4th bet in the ACC based on average star ranking. We are also still in the mix with a number of high quality additions. This has the potential to be a special class. Also, the last 2 classes were a step up from the previous 3, so we are trending up in recruiting.
That is not possible. It is a proven fact GT never gets a 4-star.

I'm trying to chill out, but am also gearing up for an off season full of drama. Hopefully, the drama will lead us to a 2014 repeat. One can only hope. It has started early this year though.

How about we go win our 9th game without MM and have something to be happy about. ****, maybe we can even beat some big, bad SEC school like Florida...wouldn't that be something!

I dont think Quaide could ever start at GT, i am not worried about the transfers, we have pieces that can be moved around and CPJ knows how to do it.

In Fall practice CPJ said more than once that we had 5 capable BBs and he was happy with them. We saw 3 of them play during the season and they did very well. If and when QFro and Benson get their chance they will be OK. CPJ does not praise players who do not produce and he has been positive about the backup BBs. We will miss a talent like Marshall but someone will likely fill the hole in solid fashion and the very talented and improving ABs will make up the difference if there is a difference.

I know this news is alarming to everyone, but we should be panicking!

We just beat UGA for the 2nd time in 3 years, that hasn't happended in almost 15 years.

We have the best recruting class since 2007 coming in this fall.

We have a chance at a 9 win season for the 2nd time in 3 years.

We are a great football program on the rise after a 3-9 season, all is well in Atlanta. GT will be just fine!

As for the transfers and rumors of more transfers. If a Student doesn't want to be at GT, you should not want them here. We are a VERY talented football team, things like this are bound to happen. We will be just fine!

"but we should be panicking". OK, if you say so.

Several of the rumored defections in my opinion create an opportunity to sign a more talented player. With a solid season and mutt win, extra scholarships could be HUGE

If anyone thinks this isn't a disaster for our program, think about 2015. Why was 2015 such a bad year? I'm not saying we're doomed to repeat it, but this is how it all started. People transferring out and being kicked off thinned our depth in the preceding years. Then when the injury bug came in 2015 we were down to walk ons and converted DBs.

Fwiw, I think we lost a bigger bunch of guys to transfer and kicked off before the 2014.
