Basically Clem is going 45-0 behind the strength of Divine Watson. They added that Clemson D will struggle. No matter tho. They have Watson.

Oh and FSU will be 45-0 too plus Louisville will be good too.

I'm not going to pretend like our defense was lights out or anything but I thought it was kind of funny they used highlights of an NFL caliber RB in Duke Johnson and ACC offensive player of the year James Conner to try and illustrate our struggles against the run... Duke Johnson ran for over 130 ypg against ACC opponents and Conner ran for almost 160 ypg against ACC opponents. We held them to 100 and 120 respectively which is decent not great in my opinion. They were talking like we gave up 200+ yards to every decent RB out there.

Guys , until we start winning back to back ACC championships and out recruiting changes dramatically , we are not going to get the same love. We need to show some consistency ! We had one good season and some of you are acting like we have been good for 5+ years. We lost a ton of skill players not to mention our was below average on paper. We are not going to get the hype. We need to reel off some winning season and you will see the love shift our way.

we've had 2 non-winning seasons since 1996. with only 1 losing season. Just sayin'...

I disagree though. Virginia Tech had a number of 10-win seasons in a row and were still considered an also-ran.

What does going 7-5, 8-5, or 6-7 mean really ?? That is a terrible to the world of college football "just saying" !

Last year was a good starting point. GT needs to do it again but this time , WIN that ACC championship game and be in the playoff talk. Why would they talk so great about us after one season ?? These analyst for ESPN don't watch GT football like us. They only see bit and pieces of our season. They read a script that tells we lost 6 guys on the offense and 3 on D. We have a brutal schedule.

I agree with you about us needing to perform at a much higher level for an extended period of time. I was just picking at your last comment about having winning seasons, that's why I ignored the whole first part of your post. Sorry if it came across snarky.

I still think that 10-win seasons won't cut it for us. We'll still be the team the pundits say "well..." about.
