Offseason-type article on the topic of offensive linemen: The tale of Parker Braun as told by his family, teammates, and coaches on The Athletic. Fun personal story on how he got into football, his hobbies, and his goals for the future. Has some info on why he came to GT and why he left, but it's not anything we haven't heard before. My favorite bit was the author butchering Mike Sewak's name:
Parker’s talents best fit a run-first scheme where he’s in control of his defenders and dictates where they move. Pass protection requires lateral, reactionary movement. Trey had played in Paul Johnson’s triple-option offense at Georgia Tech, so when Yellow Jackets offensive line coach Paul Sewald met with Parker, the fit made sense.
