That kid is a future star imo

Has all the talent. He continues to learn how to pitch to college batters vs blowing away high school competition

If Cam Hill continues to pitch like he has the last few midweek games along with Tate, we are a very dangerous team in a regional.

Our starters keep us in games
Our offense is regional worthy- this team is completely different with Bechetti and Giesler hitting. Like fitted jacket likes to say -Big Boy baseball ️

It all kind of boils down to our bullpen

With effective bullpen play, we sweep Miami and Duke vs just winning 2 of 3 for both series

Without a bullpen collapse and base running error by Mike, we likely sweep uva.

We are that close and playing our best baseball at the right time

A complete shame that Kevin Parada , Chandler Simpson, Andrew Jenkins, Tres Gonzales, Tim Borden,Tristin English , Luke Waddell , and Kyle McCann never saw Omaha

D1 baseball tournament prediction before start of duke series

3 seed in usc regional

Uga swept usc so they may have lost host site and uga May now have moved into a national seed however tech only strengthened their regional bid

If you believe the pundits there will be 9 ACC teams in the tournament this year. Two wins this week should be sufficient. The Elephant in the room was getting swept at home by a bad BC team. Hard to believe in a 50 plus game season that one weekend could have been so disastrous for our tournament resume. But hey, that’s baseball….

Ok. Asking you this. Do you believe anything (within reason) can happen that will have Hall leave before he wants to?

I don't believe any results on the field will have any impact on Hall's departure point. That is 100% up to him. I have no inside scoop. Just feels that's where we are.

I think CDH &
Tex have at least 51% of the vote with Batt having the balance for the 2025 season.
I also believe Batt has at least a majority of the vote going for 2026 and beyond.

Agreed - and this is why I said early this season this pitching staff has more upside than the last two years of historically bad performance. Now if our upper classmen pitchers can kick it into gear (Busse, King, Brown...) and kids like Stanford can figure out some command, it's pretty easy to see how GT could surprise many in the post-season. This team has the clear upside to get into a Super this year...but can our upper classmen figure it out. Brown got 'er done yesterday as a first step...

We agree. But like rainbows and unicorns, we've had 49 games to get our pitching kicked into gear. It could have and has in fits and starts to be blown up by pitchers not being pulled quick enough. I have seen the emotion and desire of our pitchers to kick it up a gear; it's easy to say what needs to be done; much harder to do it. (Just trying to keep people away from the football.)

As a whole — since losing all three games against Boston College during the final weekend of March — the team has performed much more competitively.

The team has gone 14-9 since the first of April.

I don’t care who you are, but winning 14 out of 23 games (.609) is good in baseball.

Four more games remain for the regular season. One at home versus Mercer tomorrow, and then three conference games on the road against Florida State this weekend.

Then the ACC Tournament begins after that. We will see what happens.

The season would be a success imo if not for the BC series.

Just take one or even win the series and we are basically a lock to get a bid.
Unfortunately, our rotation wasn't solidified as it is more clear now along with the fact that Beccheti was in a big slump and of course John Giesler out due to injury.

Similar to the uga losses, we were not at full strength

Oh well. That is the past. This team has earned a bid over the past six weekends imo. Only thing that has hurt was the two sweep by Auburn.
