Does CPJ redshirt Chimedza?

I can’t imagine a coach costing a kid a year of eligibility to play 10 snaps in a bowl game. Not gonna happen.

Looks like he either played in the Miami game or the Alcorn State game, or both, but IF HE DID, he didn't do anything. Surprising that he would not have any stats at all for those games IF he played in them, but it's obviously possible.

Maybe he tried to rip the turnover chain of a Hurricane player when they invaded the GT warmups at the start of the game. That doesn't count as participation.

As most have said, CPJ wouldn't play him for the sake of this one game and burn a whole year's opportunity. However, if a kid has expressed a strong desire not to redshirt (ie they don't want that extra year), then that would be another story, and you might play a kid like that if he can help you now.
