Stronger, yes. Faster, yes. But 277 and 271 for 6'5" is a rail. Conventional wisdom doesn't even like 6'5" tackles, and that's all I'm saying....this seems like a strategy that defies conventional wisdom. I understand you can benefit from that quickness in shooting gaps, but it doesn't help handle double teams. Is this what Roof did at Penn State last year? I admire what he was able to do there, so if it this is his strategy and it works, then I'll feel a whole lot better about this leaner/meaner front of ours.

Your average line has an outlier in 350+lb TJ Barnes and I can count on one hand the games he was effective. If we could get some speed in there around the 280 lb size I think we can do really well
