He has come in and essentially rebuilt three different programs, improving each year at each school:

Missouri State Bears
(Missouri Valley Conference) (2008–2011)
2008–09 Missouri State 11–20 3–15 10th
2009–10 Missouri State 24–12 8–10 7th CIT Champions
2010–11 Missouri State 26–9 15–3 1st NIT Second Round
Missouri State: 61–41 (.598) 26–28 (.481)

Tennessee Volunteers (Southeastern Conference) (2011–2014)
2011–12 Tennessee 19–15 10–6 T–2nd NIT Second Round
2012–13 Tennessee 20–13 11–7 T–5th NIT First Round
2013–14 Tennessee 24–13 11–7 4th NCAA Sweet Sixteen
Tennessee: 63–41 (.606) 32–20 (.615)

California Golden Bears (Pac-12 Conference) (2014–present)
2014–15 California 18–15 7–11 T–8th
2015–16 California 23–11 12–6 T–3rd NCAA First Round
California: 41–26 (.612) 19–17 (.528)

Total: 165–108 (.604)

If the thing with Cuonzo ends up playing out in our favor, him bringing on Cabral Huff as an assistant would put a million foot fence around Atlanta. We would almost certainly be one of the most talented teams year in and year out with those two on the recruiting trail.
I could live with this for sure. Would be fine keeping Herrion in this situation as well.

Capel was never coming here. That was a media play all the way. He never interviewed.

Martin was in town yesterday. My hunch says we're 50/50 on Cuonzo today. Should know for sure tonight or tomorrow

If Tech doesn't get Martin, we'll be scraping the bottom of the barrel for anyone willing to take the job as our 10th choice

This ask is genuine - do you have sources or are you simply speculating? Not asking for your sources, just inquiring as to the credibility of this information.

Also, why would Bobinski be at the airport travelling to or from somewhere if Martin was already in town?

How do you know Martin was in town yesterday? How do you know about knowing tonight or tomorrow?

"No no no Mike don't worry about cleaning out your office, whatever we don't burn we will just throw away."

I have a source that is usually pretty good. He makes mistakes, like all of us. Possible that the Martin meet was not in Atlanta but elsewhere. He was very sure Martin and Bobinski were meeting. Told me that well before the story broke in SF paper yesterday.

Tonight / tomorrow is just a hunch. I don't think Martin or Tech will let this hang for too long before making a decision. (Tech can't afford to. We need a coach now so we don't miss another year of recruiting)
