- Final Scrimmage today (Friday) divide the team against scouts and dress out team. Trying to anything that can happen in a game onside kicks ect.

- Thinks the defense has adjusted well. Running to the ball playing hard. Sure there will be some growing pains. Think they enjoy it.

- Would like to have a balanced team that can win low scoring or high scoring games.

- Thinks TQM has gotten better at throwing the ball. Needs a better job of protecting him and catching the balls too.

- Always concerned about depth. James Graham can really dynamic may be as good an athlete as Tech has ever had at that position. If he had to go into the game they could give him a limited package and he could play.

- Guys to watch on defense. Brant Mitchell has had a good camp and leaned up. Anree Saint Amour has a chance to do some things and get some sacks.

- Worked really hard this fall camp on 2 minute drills. Lost 4 games we were ahead at the half.

- Thinks if the team stays healthy they can be a pretty good football team

Coach Johnson is not one to give praise.....Sounds like if he stays healthy we have better JFN or JT5... Might be really exciting

Unless you are one of the other QB's ( just kidding I like them all )

Which means he will either
A. Fail out
B. Transfer
C. Have a career ending injury
D. Some other crazy thing that only happens to GT

One of my predictions for guys who will shine in CNW's scheme. He's going to eat a lot of lunches in the opponents backfield this season.

Quite a few on here have voiced concerns about Anree's weight playing DE, but I don't think it'll be a problem. Different scheme, and the way CNW uses his 3-4 personnel is different from the way someone like Saban uses 3-4 personnel. Prediction for Anree: He will have more sacks this season than all his previous seasons combined, and will have for TFLs than all his previous seasons combined.

"As good an athlete" does not always translate to QB success in the system, and more probably could mean making the Navy adjustment to a limited playbook with a great athlete at QB ... Perry is dynamite running the ball, but it is no surprise that his only pass attempt last season was picked off and it may not be better. Maybe not, and maybe Graham is one who can sling it, but so far we've just had the one who could throw some.

Man, you guys are sick liking all the bad things that may happen to Graham. BUT, this is GT, and now that you all are talking about it, I'm starting to think about it...

lol it's just a fact of life as a GT fan. Calvin Johnson has NO idea the risk he took coming here. And we still managed to under-utilize him.

Agree, but in the context CPJ was talking about when asked about QB’s he’s talking about him being an athlete in relationship to the ability to be a QB and do those things you are talking about imo. If it wasn’t asked about the QB position and he was just talking about him being an athlete I could see where you are coming from.
