You sure it wasn't the NCAA rule changes that took the teeth out of CPJ option offense?

It was the school being cheap due to debt from a stadium expansion that wasn’t needed.

Maybe we will see if Clemson can still defend the TO on a few plays. Venables is gone and they probably haven’t practiced defending it since 2018.

I understand why we went away from the TO and it’s not coming back but I have no clue why it was completely removed from the playbook. There are occasions where the triple option is the best option.

When was it taken completely out?

Seeing as it's been over an hour and there has been no proof or verification of said visit, I am locking this thread. If you have proof that CPJ was spotted at practice, include it when you open another thread.

We do not need another thread to discuss, CPJ, the option, rules changes, etc, as we already have threads dedicated to these subjects.
