Everybody wants him to gain weight. Why? How is it going to make him better to make him slower and less agile?

If he adds the weight correctly he won't lose a step or any of his agility. Does he have to get bigger? IMO, no he doesn't, but adding good weight won't affect his speed or agility at all.

First each person is different. But it appears he has a frame to gain good weight. If he does he can actually become faster....gaining weight does not always mean it slows you down if you can carry it etc.

Gaining good weight is the main thing, and that won't always slow you down. Imo gaining weight will help him in making it to the next level where everyone he will play will be bigger and stronger than the guys he's playing now. It will also help with shedding of block and not getting man handled if a blocker does get in front of him.
