Interesting to note that Tech has had more players inducted into the HOF in the past 10 years than Georgia has. We have Pat Swilling and now Joe Hamilton. They have Jake Scott.

Here's another cool tidbit (from AJC):

They will be the first class to be honored at the new College Football Hall of Fame building in downtown Atlanta, the three-story, 94,000-square foot facility scheduled to open in late August. The event is scheduled for Oct. 7. There is also an annual enshrinement ceremony Dec. 9 in New York at the National Football Foundation’s annual awards dinner.

Kinda full circle for Joe Hamilton that he'll be honored in Atlanta...the city he made a name for himself in. It also makes it convenient for GT fans to attend. No better way to break in the new Hall of Fame building then by inducting in a Yellow Jacket great!
