Again, irrelevant. Now you seem to be wanting to argue about the quality of their former OC rather than whether they missed him in Ireland. That's an entirely different conversation. One I readily admit I'm not qualified to engage in.

To the rest of the posters on this board, I apologize for allowing root to goad me into yet another pointless argument. My original response was intended to be a simple jab at FSU and their feeble offense this season. Of course it was a punishment for him to have to stay home and not be there with his team. But my intent was just to jokingly imply that it wasn't a big punishment for FSU.

Root is an amusing guy. He skirts around issues for awhile, saying things you don’t disagree with, dancing just out of reach like a mongoose around a cobra, and then he darts in at the last minute with a “gotcha!” You then don’t know whether to argue with all the newly introduced suppositions or just congratulate him on suckering you in again.

This is about the time I usually say, “What were we talking about again?”

Sorry. I apologized that my attempt at a light-hearted joke directed at FSU got taken so seriously by a certain poster and turned into a derail because he felt attacked and had to resort to name calling. I will attempt to include more emojis to help avoid such incidents in the future. :p:D:sneaky:

How's this for an attempt to get things back on track.



Also, what does it say about the current state of the program that there is no thread about this? Or did I just miss it?

You have the font who started the thread on "ignore" so it doesn't show up on your dashboard. If you go to the bottom of the page and hit "show ignored" it'll show up until you change the page. Then you can decide whether to take that font off ignore or not.

@GTJackets, you have AUGC on ignore? Not sure what prompted that, but they are one of the best and most consistent bball posters on here. Maybe they have been reformed?

I've also got him on ignore. He was probably an overwhelmingly negative ******* during one of the past 2 coaching regimes or he **** on players. That's how most end up on my ignore list.

Ignore is a wonderful feature of this site. But maybe I should revisit some of my choices from time to time.
