I think that was the right call. It would have been demoralizing to get down in the redzone after a 6 minute drive and not get any points. They needed something there.

Based on how the game played out it didn't matter. I felt like they needed to get within two scores to stand a chance. They went from down 21 to down 18 with only 20 minutes left to play.
