The NCAA gave former Ole Miss QB Shea Patterson a waiver so he can play for Michigan in 2018. I disagree with this i think Shea Patterson should have had to sit out a season like most other transfers in College Football

Just saw that Va. Tech co-defensive coordinator Galen Scott resigned because of an affair. Evidently Scott and Fuente were very close and roomed together back when the two were on staff at Illinois State. Scott even introduced Fuente to Fuente's eventual wife and you would think he was probably the heir apparent to Bud. While it isn't good for their defense, I would think that they will not be greatly affected with Bud still there although their future transition plans are probably now in the toilet..

Purdue has given head football coach Jeff Brohm a two year extension of his contract to 2024. He will get his salary raised from 3.03 million to 3.5 million and it will be raised 100,000 dollars annually.

I think VT goes 8-4 and gets invited to the Sun Bowl. I think this level of football will be the best that Justin Fuente can achieve at Virginia Tech. I could see Justin Fuente going to LSU when the LSU fans and administration eventually get tired of Ed Orgeron.
