Whether it was intentional or not, the fact the schedule was released with 3 byes against us multiple times is at best extreme incompetence.

Ironically, in this case, it is both. It is likely a real effort to keep the league 'relevant' by ensuring the 'big brands' get the right perfectly-explainable breaks coupled with the incompetence of it not actually working. I mean, seriously, if you are going to cheat you should at least make sure it works!
But if you think that the numbers are mere coincidence, then I'd like to have you on the jury if I'm ever tried for corruption. Don't forget the immortal words of Mr. Occam...the most simple explanation is the most likely. In this case, the odds that our opponents randomly get bye-weeks against us as often as they have versus other opponents are pretty darn unlikely.
Either way, we just need to go win.
But I sincerely wish a pox on those complicit in this practice...for all that's worth
