Somebody uploaded the 1993 game on Youtube and Lynn Swann mentioned that the day was Thanksgiving. I did not know that they played the game on Thanksgiving. Was this just a one time thing or did it happen a few more times? I am just curious. Thanks in advance.

We played one at 11:00 AM on Thanksgiving, if I recall. Varsity at 9:00 AM. YUM!

I was at this game. I don't remember players fighting. There were always drunk fans fighting. The 1993 game on Thanksgiving is when the fight broke out. It was silly because we were losing by like 30 points.

Yeah at the end of the game when uga passed for a touchdown and a bench clearing brawl broke out and lasted about a minute. I was wondering if anyone could sense something was about to happen in the game. Just curious. In attended the '05 COFH game and witnessed some drunken stupidity.

Well, if I wasn't already aware of it, I am now....my memory is shot, totally shot....LOL There were Thanksgiving Day games in 1971, 1975, 1993. and 1995. I really don't remember any of them, but sadly we lost every one of them
