From the above article....(article is about English mostly; but here is how it ends)

Tonight will be interesting as Hall seeks to grow his Tech record of 999 wins and all-time career mark of 1,207 victories another notch higher.
You might call him old school, at least until you consider that he made the batting lineup changes Sunday after consultation with assistant coach and former catcher Mike Nickeas.

“That was straight analytics, and that’s kind of what it spit out, that Bart should be hitting in the two hole,” Hall said. “That was Mike . . . he’s kind of into the computer stuff. We were trying to figure some things out this week with our lineups.”

Anybody want to pick this quote apart? You can "see" his body language in the video via this link (below) where the quote was spoken. I'm no body language expert; but he really does seem to bristle at the whole idea of using computers to analyze baseball stuff. ...but give the guy credit(?...maybe), HE ultimately made the lineup changes that seemed to work really well on Sunday.

I give credit to Hall for doing something different since what he has been doing hasn't worked. I got the impression that he said it was something else someone recommended and he really didn't care / understand the mathematics of it all.
