This is definitely a new thing, and I love that he called out the GT grad on their team. The "Coming Home" and "Dream Job" quotes he keep dropping make me feel better as well; he seems committed to the cause.

Maybe an interview with Finebaum? I realize he is an SEC homer, but what the heck? Things are kind of "dead" right now anyway. I would love for him to go on Paul's show, and say some things we would love to hear about GT.

Well, that will start next year, and Finebaum has LOTS of viewers. Some of them actually have teeth. Some of them are potential recruits or their family members.

He did say he would do his best to run an offense to "play good football now". I am not sure what that means, but I am glad he is interested in adjusting to the roster in the early years. I think maintaining Cook and hiring a "longterm" OC and allowing them to be co-OC's could work out. Cook will know the players more than anyone Collins could bring in, and could serve as a bridge while the new system gets recruited to. This could allow for us to maintain our excellence on the offense now while still moving in the direction Collins wants.

I think the assumption has been that the defensive staff is coming to Tech. There is more uncertainty around the offensive staff. Just my observation.
