I am just happy that it was a really entertaining game. Personally, I don't think the best team won. Both were very good teams mind you, but Clemson lost because of some critical mistakes. They controlled the game, but lost it because of coverage busts, KO returns and the like. Bammer scored half their points because Clemson chose not to cover somebody, not because they couldn't. Clemson racked up 31 first downs and 550 yards of offense against a team that didn't make any GLARING errors. Bammer simply couldn't contain Clemson. I thought both DLs were really good, but the less mobile QB got chewed up while the other escaped a good bit. If you ask the teams, I would think the tiggers would say they played poorly and gave it away, while bammer would say they feel fortunate.
I tend to agree with your opinion of who was the better team in the sense of my feeling of who would win more games out of ten.
However, I'm in the settle it on the field camp, and CU didn't.
