Here is how the hacker's case ended up being settled. At least he can avoid having a felony charge on his record.

The interesting part of his punishment is writing a letter of apology to UGA. I suggest that in writing the apology letter he:

1) Write it in crayon and draw illustrations so that they can follow along over there.
2) Include the lines: "When I hacked your website to schedule the *** kicking you would be receiving at the hands of the Yellow Jackets, never did I expect all that has transpired. Instead of a simple *** kicking by a clearly superior team on your home field your team had to suffer a soul crushing defeat despite the best efforts of your crooked refs. I apologize for my inaccurate editing of your online schedule of events."

Anyone else care to help the hacker write his apology letter?
Write an abject apology but admit he is taking the blame for his 7-year-old brother, who hacked it at a 15-minute recess one day and afterwards was really ticked that he had only 10 minutes play time left.

Prosecutor would have a hard time explaining computers to the Clarke County judge and jury, assuming he knows anything about them. He took the easy way out.

The risk for the GT student is that the jury would, without a doubt, understand what kicking a dawg's *** means.
