An extremely high ceiling uncommitted righthander in Logan Bogue (2022, Mt. Airy, Ga.) made an appearance for the Georgia Bombers on Tuesday. The stuff was pretty loud for the righthander whose fastball topped out at 91 mph while living in the 88-90 mph range with good downhill plane and life to the pitch when working the lower third. Bogue filled up the strike zone tossing a pair of innings with four strikeouts and numerous swings and misses with all three of his pitches. Bogue stands at 6-3, 195 pounds with a mostly clean delivery staying online to the plate with a loose arm that releases the ball on time and under control. The delivery is very easy as he generates good velocity with a feel for his secondaries. Bogue’s changeup was a swing and miss pitch in this outing while the curveball has solid potential as well in the mid 70s. Bogue is a name that the PG Scouting staff heard rumors of in the spring making a velocity jump and the Georgia Bombers and Habersham Central High School product was able to showcase himself at the 16U Battle of the Southeast.
