PG 26th overall rank but with only 4 HS commits - we have a lot of ceiling left on this already impressive class.

if you sort by avg player we jump to 11th, again with only 4! Good, High density there.

34th sorted by HS Commits.
Can't believe the other schools are so deep into that class already. Given time, that will change.
PG doesn't even rank the 23 class yet. But we definitely have a nice jump on that.

Pretty amazing that some teams have 10 or more commits for a class that won't show up for 3 years. But it is only 7 teams out of the ~300 which are out there; all 7 are big name schools. That UVa Class with 5 in the top 100 is pretty impressive. Even more so is L'Ville with 6 of 12 players in top 100.

Any idea how much the player rankings change over a two-three year period? Intuitively I'd expect over half of the top 100 to be different players in three years given there is so much development at that age.

Yep, thought it was weird that a lot of big schools were so committed already with those numbers.
Places like Texas only has 6 in their 2021 class...

Ranking can change very QUICKLY!

Christian finally got ranked this summer and was Top 500 prospect and #304 RHP nationally & 126 prospect and #38 RHP in Texas. Started getting invited to Showcases, and other events. etc.

In just 2 events (big ones) this fall he shot up after both WWBAs and the Perfect Game/No Hitter in Jupiter to 91/24 RHP nationally & 8/2RHP in TX. Broke 90mph in Aug at Univ of Texas and offically 90 mph at 2021 WWBA Ft Meyers and then 91 (92) at WWBA Jupiter.

You can see some guys from the fall drop that played football and those that didn't leaped them a bit, but they typically don't degrade that badly.
The guys we have should only get better, as they get better, bigger, stronger, etc.

I would expect Christian's rank to improve next summer. He's returning to East Cobb Astros and playing in a few BIG national events next summer. (2 PG, 1 Wilson Premier and Team USA event).
He should put on an inch and some more weight and velo during HS season and should be in mid to low 90s in June/July as a finishes his Junior Year.
Next year, projected to grow a bit, add more weight and velo and should in the mid to upper 90s finishing up Senior year.

I would expect the same for others in the committed category.

Thanks. For every new one in the top 100, one goes out. As I said before, glad y'all are playing the long view. It will be fun to watch.
