Oh we don't.
It's just funny how disconnected PBR is compared to PG. I understand other region PBR franchises are run very well, like PA/NY. PBR TX not so much.
I don't and won't have a paid membership to PBR to see it, but to not have the PG#2 Ranked Pitcher in TX in your Top 100 I think is comical.
I'm assuming he's not given the "Bubble" comment unless that is top 10, but why would be be top ten if they have his stats 83-85. LOL.
Christian and I spoke in the car today on our way back from the Ranch and discussed how the break in HS ball is kind of nice and reduces his load, as they have a tendency to try to over use him on his HS team.
We were informed, if/when they start back up in May, they're going to do 1 game district games and go straight to playoffs to crown a state champ by June....I think that is a joke and a scheduling nightmare, but we'll play along.
We can adjust summer ball events too if Dbo wants him to get more reps or not.
So far this season in HS....
17 IP 31K-10H-5W-1 ER across 61 batters.
ERA = .412
WHIP = .882
I think a few of those hits were fielding errors and we know for sure the run was (the other team scored it as an error), but I'm not Mr Gamechanger and wouldn't want that job and honestly we don't care about the HS stuff anyway.
Given he was in the Varsity starting rotation as a Freshman, he's #1 in rotation since SO year. He is going to have almost all of the School records by a long shot, even with this short season.
We're focused on Summer ball and competition and getting better for that.
He's hitting the home gym and weights during the down time, still throwing. Long Toss, etc.
Month of May is spent doing HIT exercise with a trainer to get him "Summer Ball" Ready.
