Officials miss many calls every game. Believing officials are biased or influenced by conferences is bunk. Go ask a College or Pro or even a HS School official if they are influenced by bias or higher powers. They will tell you to go stuff it.Some people have no rooting interest and just enjoy watching the games. Some people think every call go against their team. Some people are level headed and can see when certain calls are being overlooked for one team and not the other.
Then there’s the viewpoint that everything is right in the world and anyone complaining about calls is dead wrong because they aren’t a rational person.
I could’ve responded to countless posts that you’ve made “root4gt”, but at some point you have to quit bending over for the opposition and realize that the officials can, and have made recent games a nonlevel playing field.
Not all Tech fans are irrational, in fact most aren’t. But I will say that the one(s) that constantly beat the drum of saying the rest of us can’t see what’s really happening is unbecoming to the said one(s).
Hard jobs that require a lot of judgments. They get it wrong some times. So be it.
GT fans aren’t the only ones who believe the officials are against them. I have had enough experience with officials to know that line of thought is bunk.
We could show a hundred possible targeting calls on videos are less than 25% would have an overwhelming consensus.
It’s part of any game.
