After all bowl games in Jan, or after Temple's bowl game next week?Said he would probably wait until Bowl games are over to announce the staff since most of them are coaching in the bowl games.
I understood him to mean after the bowl games of each coach. In other words not EVERYONE is coming from Temple. After all bowl games in Jan, or after Temple's bowl game next week?
Sounds good to me. Plenty of time, actually.
Also, very wise. Plenty of assistants to choose from.
Not really. You want your staff in place to recruit and evaluate players, there is no off season.
The dead period is between Dec. 17th and Jan. 10th. I don’t see this as a problem. I think I’ve heard him imply that the staff will be in Atlanta ready to work with current players (workouts) on Jan 6th.Not really. Kelly is defensive backs, and Collins is defensive backs. We'd have the best coached defensive backfield in the country.I was hoping Charles Kelly would be apart of defense but he coaches a 3-4.

That would be a nice change.Kelly is defensive backs, and Collins is defensive backs. We'd have the best coached defensive backfield in the country.

What is our infatuation with bringing assistant coaches back to Georgia Tech that have been here previously? I want the best coaches we can get. I don't care if they are coaching at a blue blood, Power 5, BCS, FCS, D2, D3, high school, NFL, Japan, Europe, or Timbuktu.

It is truly a strange phenomenon. Personally, I want a fresh start with all new faces. I don't want to live in the past. What is our infatuation with bringing assistant coaches back to Georgia Tech that have been here previously? I want the best coaches we can get. We've had coaches who have been effective at other stops, but not here. For example, Dave Wommack had highly rated defenses at the other places where he was a DC, but not here. I don't think anyone wants to bring Dave Wommack back. What is our infatuation with bringing assistant coaches back to Georgia Tech that have been here previously? I want the best coaches we can get.
