Actually similar scenario as Jack Plummer / Jeff Brohm.
Worked out decently for them… Brohm landed in Lville and Plummer followed him after his layover at Cal.

Now I have no idea if the parting of Malzahn and Castellanos had additional baggage…. Just sayin it has happened before.
