I will root for anyone playing puke.
My, my, those comments are a veritable cesspool of despondency. They're already imploding and folding the hand in South Bend. They will give us no joy in victory, so we will have to make our own satisfaction.

Yes. And what helped last year's team grow up was learning early how to handle close games. If this game is close Tech will have to learn in a hurry against big time competition.I expect a very tough game. I will be happy if we crush them, but I don't expect it. I hope our guys are grown up enough to handle a couple wide margin wins, and news of QBs and RBs injured, without getting over confident.
I think some are going to be surprised at how good our pass rush is. I believe CTR and CPJ have been holding back on some stunts. They will turn everything loose on Saturday. We better find a pass rush by next Saturday.
Telling the truth on a transcript is now political correctness? O.K., we will just have to disagree.Kind of. It was political correctness that got him.
Agreed. Hate Duke as much as the next person but we can no longer afford to be viewed as an average team in a poor conference if we want to make the playoffs.@GTNavyNuke I was with you last week about wanting ND to lose but not this week on puke.
The new reality is that getting into the playoffs requires record and reputation (of conference). Our SOS is hard enough that a 1 loss season ACC championship should get us into the playoffs.
However, if the ACC is seen as week, ooc so far, then we're easily the 1st guys out, other things equal. They might even put a 2loss sec champ in ahead of us.
Oh, and fwiw, Northwestern is one word: NU not NW.
They wanted the African American coach. I'm glad they got him.Telling the truth on a transcript is now political correctness? O.K., we will just have to disagree.
I honestly believe that Notre Dame hated how this ended. They really wanted O'Leary as coach but given their honor code they were in a corner and had to let him go. It was really just a sad situation all the way around. I felt bad for everyone involved.

Keep that head buried in the sand!
