I mean, he is very well paid for an OL coach. SC ain't Clemson so it's hard for me to believe they can pay him that much more.

Well this sucks. That’s an enormous blow if he leaves. He is the best coach on our entire staff by miles.

I guess he thinks there's a greater chance of offensive success there given Beamer's reputation. Could be another possible reason.

Yea I get your point, just stings extra when it's an alum who you thought would be around at least say like 5 years or so. I could see a factory type leave but SC is pedestrian.

From what I can tell, their previous offensive line coach was already making $100,000 more than CBK at $700,000. If you add co-of coordinator title he will probably make even more.

Collins better have planes C and D ready to go because plan A. Recruiting and plan B. Development (especially along the O-Line) just took a serious hit each.
